I was hired by XeoDesign to create 3D art and provide art direction for a prototype they're developing for Miraisens, a company specializing in haptic technology for virtual reality. XeoDesign's goal with this prototype is to showcase the various capabilities of Miraisens' advanced haptic solutions using a space garage concept:
The lunar rover has sustained damage, and replacement parts need to be created and installed. Inside the VR space garage, users follow simulated repair steps, experiencing haptic feedback that mirrors what they would feel in a real-world setting.
The response to the prototype was very positive. In 2021 Miraisens Haptic Technology was officially licensed by Sony PS5.
